The thirteenth century has long been a poor relation in the study of medieval history, which is undeserved as it includes such towering personalities as King John and Edward I “Longshanks”. The Simon de Montfort Medieval Resource Centre is part of our effort to bring this fascinating and challenging period the fame it deserves. We will be publishing academic papers, transcripts of talks, and articles, galleries of relevant images and making our own publications available for purchase. As the Simon de Montfort Society is a registered educational and heritage charity, all proceeds from sales and donations are dedicated to fulfilling the Society’s charitable purposes.
